Correct Answer: Option E

Explanation

If α1 is the linear expansivity of copper

And α2 is the linear expansivity of iron

L1 —> length of copper

L2 —> length of iron

α1L1 = α2L2

L1/L2 = α2/α1

Since α1/α2 = 1.5

α2/α1 = 1/1.5

L1/L2 = 0.67
