This is to inform admitted candidates that the University of Lagos UNILAG, has released the acceptance fee for the 2023/2024 academic session for both UTME and Direct Entry Candidates.
The University of Lagos (UNILAG) acceptance fee for the 2023/2024 academic session is N20,000.00 (Twenty Thousand Naira)
How to Pay UNILAG Acceptance Fees 2023
To pay the UNILAG acceptance fee, all you need to do is;
- Log in to the University of Lagos Portal
- There, check your admission status
- If your admission status is updated, that is, you have been offered admission. You will be provided with a link to pay your acceptance fee.
- Click on the link and proceed to pay your acceptance
Note: You must pay the acceptance fee before the deadline, which is usually two weeks after the day you are offered admission. Failure to pay it before the deadline may result in the loss of your admission.

At what age can you enter UNILAG?
To be admitted into Unilag, you must be 18 years old.
Can I enter UNILAG without JAMB?
To gain admission into UNILAG without JAMB , you have to run a certain advanced level programme. Registering for one of these A’ level programmes is what qualifies you for admission through direct entry. Also, not all A ‘level programmes are acceptable as entry level requirements hence, the need to enlighten you.
Does UNILAG accept second choice?
The answer is No. UNILAG does not accept second choice candidates for admission. The University of Lagos does not offer admission to candidates who choose UNILAG as their second choice institution. Admission into the school is strictly for students who made the institution their first choice during JAMB registration.
Does UNILAG accept D7 in English?
NO
UNILAG does not accept D7 or E8 for subjects such as English Language and Mathematics and also for core subjects related to your course of study. So, you need to make sure that you pass with at-least a C6 in the core subjects required for your course of study.
Does UNILAG accept NECO?
Yes, they do. The university accepts NECO for her admission. They, as well, accept a combination of NECO with WAEC (GCE) or NABTEB (GCE).
