This is to inform admitted candidates that the Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun FUPRE, has released the acceptance fee for the 2023/2024 academic session for both UTME and Direct Entry Candidates.

The Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun (FUPRE) acceptance fee for the 2023/2024 academic session is Sixty-five Thousand naira only (N65,000).

How to Pay FUPRE Acceptance Fees 2023

To pay the FUPRE acceptance fee, all you need to do is;

  • Log in to the Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun Portal
  • There, check your admission status
  • If your admission status is updated, that is, you have been offered admission. You will be provided with a link to pay your acceptance fee.
  • Click on the link and proceed to pay your acceptance

Note: You must pay the acceptance fee before the deadline, which is usually two weeks after the day you are offered admission. Failure to pay it before the deadline may result in the loss of your admission.

Ten Thousand Naira

To apply for Basic Studies (Pre-Degree) Programme, candidates are to pay a non-refundable application fee of Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000) online and via bank. NOTE: Admission to FUPRE 100 Level disciplines will be based on the average of final Basic Studies Examination and Jamb Scores.

How is Fupre post Utme calculated?

FUPRE adopts a 50:40:10 system for calculating aggregate score. The sum of the total points would be 100%. Your UTME carries more points with 50% representing your total JAMB score, 40% represents your FUPRE Post UTME Score while just 10% represents your O’Level result.

Does Fupre do IJMB?

Yes.

The Joint Universities Preliminary Examination Board (JUPEB) certificate is equivalent to the Advance Level General Certificate of Education (GCE), Higher School Certificate (HSC) or Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB).

How many questions is Fupre post Utme?

You will basically answer questions from the same subjects you wrote in JAMB. You must answer at least 50 percent of all the questions correctly to stand a chance. There are fifty (50) questions comprising English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry.
