Landmark University LMU is a private Christian university in Omu-Aran, Kwara State, Nigeria, that is affiliated with the Living Faith Church Worldwide. Webometrics ranked it among the top five universities in Nigeria in 2014.
Landmark University LMU is governed by the World Mission Agency (WMA), a Christian mission organization founded by Dr. David Oyedepo. Dr. David Oyedepo, the Chancellor, is the chairman of the World Mission Agency’s board of trustees. The World Mission Agency’s board of trustees is in charge of appointing members to Landmark University’s Board of Regents (Governing Council). The Board is the University’s highest governing body.
Pastor Yemi Nathaniel is the university’s pro-chancellor. His appointment began in August of 2014. The job of the pro-chancellor, according to the chancellor, is to facilitate the university’s decision-making and approval process, as well as to provide spiritual oversight to the university community. The pro-chancellorship has been retired.
Professor Adeniyi Olayanju is the current vice-chancellor, succeeding Professor Aize Obayan, who served as a member of the National Universities Commission, the Central Bank of Nigeria, and the Council of the Nigerian Institute of Management.
