The Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination is administered or conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), a Nigerian examination body that has been given legal authority (UTME).

What exactly is the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), you might wonder?

The Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) is a required standardized exam that all applicants or students seeking admission into any higher education program, typically into universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education, must pass before being given consideration for admission based on their performance score and other factors.

The schedule for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and for Direct Entry is typically released by JAMB prior to the start of registration, though there may be minor changes to the exams’ dates to accommodate special occasions.

To this end, it is crucial that every exam-taking candidate double-check or reprint their exam slip a week prior to the exam.

Location, Center, Date, and Time For The JAMB Exam

Your exam location will almost certainly be at a facility that has been approved or has been accredited; these facilities are frequently referred to as JAMB CBT Centers because JAMB will never assign you to a location that has not been accredited.

But if you forgot to print your jamb slip, trust me, you won’t know the specific location, the venue, or even the date of your exams. It’s a good idea to double-check your date by printing your jamb slip one day and one week before your exam.
