What Is NYSC Senate List?
NYSC senate list is an APPROVED list of graduates by the Senate of Corps producing Institutions (CPIs) to take part in the one-year mandatory National Youth Service Corps Program.
Anyone whose name is not found on the Senate list will not be eligible to register for NYSC program.
Is NYSC Compulsory In Nigeria?
Yes, It’s compulsory for all graduates, those in Nigeria and abroad.
NYSC is compulsory in the sense that the graduates of the country can’t request an exemption by themselves unless they are disabled, have served in the military or paramilitary for a period of more than one year or are older than 30 when they graduated.

After you have finished your school clearance, then you will be mobilized to where you will serve your country for a year!
How to Check Your Name on NYSC Senate List 2023/2024
Follow the following steps to check your name if it is in the mobilization list for the service year 2023/2024.
- Launch your browser and visit the NYSC portal https://portal.nysc.org.ng/nysc2/VerifySenateLists.aspx and https://portal.nysc.org.ng/nysc1/VerifySenateLists.aspx
- On the drop list make sure you select the institution you graduated from
- A space will be shown to you where you are expected to enter your name and Jamb Matriculation number.
- make sure that your details are correct, cross check one more time before hitting the search button.
- allow it to load, once it finish loading you will see your details such as your names and institution. once it appears it means you are among those going for service. if you didn’t see your names then it means your school has not sent your name yet.
Please note that if you are for batch A or batch B any of those batches will still be split into stream 1 and 2.
It is likely to see your name in stream 1 if you register early. So try to register as soon as possible if you want to be in stream 1.
